In 1976, I purchased my first Golden Retriever
and soon thereafter joined both the Golden Retriever Club of America
and the Golden Retriever Club of Greater St. Louis.
These organizations helped lay the foundation for my future in Golden
Retrievers, both as an exhibitor and as a breeder, and sparked my enthusiasm
for competing in the conformation ring. I continue to this
day to be an active member of both clubs and have served multiple terms as the President,
Secretary and board member of the Golden Retriever Club of Greater St. Louis. |
| I've also served in many other positions over the past 30+ years
including Show Chairman (for
National, Regional and independent specialties), Webmaster,
Newsletter Editor, Health Clinic Chairman and WC/WCX Chairman. I
served as the Yearbook Editor for the 1988 GRCA Yearbook, the GRCA
Specialty Advisor in 2001, and was on the GRCA National Specialty Task Force
in 2009 and the GRCA Nominating Committee in 2010. |

I bred
my first litter of Golden Retrievers in 1980 under the Karamor prefix and have
always adhered to
the philosophy of quality--not quantity--in my breeding program. I
